Starlight Union is a synth-pop and Italo disco duo from Hamburg, Germany, founded in 2026 by Finn Elfers (aka Eugene Franks) and Lukas Heiland (aka Ludwig Schmidt).
With a clear vision of bringing the sound and atmosphere of the 1980s into the modern era, the project combines melodic hooks, cinematic synth textures and powerful production with contemporary clarity in mixing.
Inspired by artists such as Koto, Laserdance, Scotch, Modern Talking and Fancy, Starlight Union does not aim to recreate the past, but to carry forward an iconic sonic legacy in a modern context.
Their debut single “Aliens Invasion” marks the beginning of a project that merges euphoria, nostalgia and futuristic energy — a tribute to the spirit of the 80s, reimagined for a new generation.
